I'm an organist and so MIDI files from my organ have a channel for each keyboard and one for the pedals. Synthesia makes it super-easy to differentiate the colors of the channels so the individual parts played are all clear.
Hey! Just checking in. I'm not sure if you saw my replies below, as I didn't formally "reply" to this message.
Let me know if this is supported or if I should try another route. I'm looking into manually moving the data from channels to tracks in case this is unsupported.
My apologies, I'm not 100% familiar with the correct terminology. I mean per-channel. If I open the MIDI file in a MIDI editor, I can see that it has four channels: one for each manual and pedal.
If I open that fifth option, it lists two "tracks" and shows them as different colors, but nothing about two "channels". Perhaps there's a tool I can use to transform my four "channels" into four "tracks"?
Also, amazing work on this software. I had basically given up on making Rousseau-level videos since it required Adobe subscriptions and expensive particle effect packages and so on, but this software has me immensely excited! So wonderful job to the devs! :D
If/when I can get the video figured out, the result will end up over on my channel at: https://www.youtube.com/user/rstaples93. I'm excited to contribute to the user base of SeeMusic.
I just pulled the newest and loaded up my file and it looks AMAZING! Thank you so much for taking the time to make this a feature. I look forward to making my first video using this software! :D
I believe this is actually already a feature of SeeMusic?
If you select the fifth and final Color option in Color Settings, you can easily choose a color for each of your tracks.
If you're looking for different or more advanced functionality, please explain a little more in depth what you're looking for.

Hi Robert,
Just wanted to post an update to say that there's finally a new "Use Channel For Track Color" switch available in Version 1.31.
Check it out - Should let you now more easily make your videos! 😀
