    Realistic fluid simulation with Navier-Stokes equations

    Hi, I have been using your software for a little over 2 years now and I have always hoped to see a more "real" particle simulation than the current one which seems more "random" than based on real physics.


    To do so, you could base your simulation on the solution of Navier-Stokes equations. I've seen quite a few 'live' simulations of fluids with such a physical model (typically this: https://github.com/angeluriot/2D_fluid_simulation ), so I guess it must be something doable in the long run. The way I see it would be to simulate a fluid " cannon " with a greater or lesser force depending on the strength of the note, and leave it on for the duration of the note, and display for example the density at each location. This would be a really amazing addition to your software I think!

    I don't actually have control over the turbulence model physics at this time, but I will keep this information in mind for the future!
