1. What platform are you on?
2. Can you make a video screen capture of the process of you trying to start the render?
I'm using N-Track Studio to record if that's what you mean by platform
and as you can see after I keep saving the file nothing pops up like it is supposed to. It's supposed to show the amount of time to process the render but it instead it stays on the same window. While, I was playing around with the app to get the feel of it, I remember that the rendering worked once ever since I got the app
@Nolla Brewer Sorry - you’re saying “as you can see” - did you upload something showing what’s happening? I don’t see a video file attached here. Can you upload a video screen capture of what’s happening in the app on your device?
I was also wondering is there a way to get rid of the “See Music” title where the notes go down?
Yes, by clicking the "Unlock" button and purchasing a subscription.
@visualmusicdesign thank you! It worked! But the rendering part isn’t.
In the new video - it looks like you're trying to save to your iCloud Desktop, which it also shows is full.
You need to save to your local desktop, on your computer.
@visualmusicdesign so, becuase my Icloud Storage was full I even emptied it out and it still wouldn’t render. Any other suggestions? I will try out anything.
Please send the Log file after attempting a render like you did in the most recent video:
The Log file on MacOS is located at:
~/Library/Containers/com.VisualMusicDesign.SeeMusicUnity/Data/Library/Logs/Visual Music Design/SeeMusic/Player.log
To easily get to this folder, use the GO menu at the top of the Finder, and select GO TO FOLDER, and copy that address into it.
Hi! Log file? Unfortunately I’m not understanding what you need me to do. You need me to send the file that I attempted to render. But, I don’t know what you mean but click “GO” in finder my apologies. can you explain it one more time
I've attached a screenshot of where you can find the "Go to Folder" option in the Go menu.
You will see the "Player.log" file once you follow the instructions I posted previously - please just read them carefully:
To easily get to the Log file folder, use the GO menu at the top of the Finder, and select GO TO FOLDER, and copy this address into it.
~/Library/Containers/com.VisualMusicDesign.SeeMusicUnity/Data/Library/Logs/Visual Music Design/SeeMusic
Then copy the file you see - Player.log
@visualmusicdesign I have the file saved and ready! Did you need the file? if so, how can I do that if wherever I saved it’s just coming up As I can’t use it When I want to send it to someone
Yes, please email it to firstname.lastname@example.org
Cool! I have just now sent it!
Version 3.9.5 is now up for MacOS - could you try updating when you have a chance and let me know if it works?
@visualmusicdesign hello! I will be sure to tell tou. But I don’t see where I could update the app to 3.9.5 for MacOS. I checked in the App Store and the app itself
I've attached a screenshot of what the SeeMusic app page looks like on the App Store app for me. For me, it says "Version 3.9.5" at the far right middle.
What does it say there for you for the Version number? Does it still say "Version 3.9.4"?
This link should open up that window on your computer:
Yes, I just now updated the app. and it finally says version 3.9.5 instead of 3.9.4. But, the render still doesn't work for me. Is there anything else that you know of that could prevent me from rendering?
Just wanted to post an update that I've finally been able to replicate this issue, and should hopefully have a fix update up in the next 24-48 hours.
Thanks for your patience!
