I'm on MacOS 10.15.6, and every previous version worked but with 4.0, playback won't work, and I can't get any sound from midi or WAV. Anything I should try? Or is there a way for me to downgrade for now?

4.0.1 is now available on the App Store - give it a try when you have a chance and please let me know if the issues have been mitigated?
Thank you
Awesome! So I just tried it out and playback is now working perfectly but I can't get any audio to work. The MIDI is syncing correctly visually with the video, but I can't hear audio from MIDI, Audio, or Video. And actually, if I have the audio turned on for MIDI, then playback stops working again.
Same thing is happening to me as well, no playback sound with MIDI.
Also seeing this problem with 4.0.1 (M1 running Big Sur 11.2.3)
A fix has been submitted on all platforms for the audio issue.
Version 4.0.2 should be up on the App Store in the next 24-48 hours.
thanks for such a quick response, will keep an eye out for the update and keep you posted.
Thank you so much for being so fast with the responses and keeping us updated on the bug fixes. I just updated to 4.0.2 and everything is back to working perfectly. I really appreciate your commitment to keeping all of us up and running with our video production!
@Jason Wexler Thank you so much. It was a very difficult couple of days, and I appreciate you letting me know that the bug fixes have it back to working! (100% of the bugs were due to bugs in the new version of the Unity framework, rather than changes that I made.)
4.0.1 has been submitted to Apple with fixes. Hopefully should be available later today.
