I have been having two problems.
I want to be able to use the pedaling on my digital piano rather than the app automatically always having it down.
When I launch the app, it is a white background rather than a black one. Its a small issue but I would like to know how to change that.

Are you using the audio from your digital piano or are you using the audio from the audio engine in the app? If you want to use the pedaling on your digital piano you could just record the audio from your digital piano onto an audio recorder and use that file for your audio.
For the background issue, if you go into Visual Settings there's a setting for 'Background Color' in the middle there. Looks like yours is set to a white background. You could either change it to black or select the 'off' option.
I am using the audio from the engine in the app. I will try using the method you suggested.

For the white background, Anselm is right - if you go into Visual Settings, there's a setting for "Background Color." Make sure it's set to black.
For the pedaling, please make sure you're using the latest version of the app. There are updates in Version 1.16 that should fix any issues with pedaling - let me know if you're still having issues after upgrading to 1.16.

One more stupid question: Do I have to redownload the app every time I want to download an update? Im on windows 10.
@Justin Johnson - For the Background issue - that's definitely some weird app behavior in the video... there might be something weird going wrong.
Could you please send me the Log file from the app?
The Log file is located at:
C:\Users\YOUR USERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\Visual Music Design\SeeMusic\Player.log
(This folder might be hidden - you might need to Show Hidden Files in the View options in Windows Explorer)
For Windows - Yes, you do need to download it from the website each time you update. Unfortunately Microsoft has absurdly strict rules about the Windows App Store, which is why I can't distribute it through the Windows App Store.
I’m having the same issue with the pedal and just downloaded the software last night.
The 1.16 Update was posted last night around 1 AM PT... so you actually might still not have gotten it?
If you are absolutely, definitely running Version 1.16 - can you describe the problem you're experiencing in detail?
